Here are two hotels suggestions in Fremantle that we’ve stayed in and highly recommend.
We had originally planned to stay at the Warders Hotel, but decided to extend our stay in Fremantle by one night. As there were no rooms available at the Warders for the extra night, we had to find an alternative at the last minute. The receptionist at the Warders Hotel kindly suggested the Hougoumont Hotel, which is part of the same group, and even arranged the last-minute booking for us. I highly recommend both hotels, although I would say the Warders is the better option (and, more expensive).
At the end, I have also included an option for those looking for a studio or apartment with a kitchen.
This hotel was recommended to me by my friend Nina, who spoke very highly of it – and it did not disappoint. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and some even have a small patio or balcony (which was not the case for us).
The hotel is right next to Fremantle Markets and within walking distance of the city’s main attractions.
One detail we absolutely loved was the mini bar, which had a tap with sparkling water and another with cold water – a real luxury!
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would return in a heartbeat.

This hotel is also very centrally located, and we were lucky enough to get an upgrade, so we ended up with a huge room. We had a very comfortable stay for the one night we spent here, and I have nothing but good things to say about it.
In the evening we were served us a platter of cheese and charcuterie with a glass of wine, which was great since it was Christmas Day and most of the restaurants in town were closed.
There was also complimentary water and coffee available in the lobby.
If you can’t get a room at the Warders Hotel, the Hougoumont Hotel is definitely an excellent alternative.
If you’re looking for an apartment with a kitchen so you can prepare your own meals during your holiday, this could be an excellent option. Be. Fremantle is right on the marina and within walking distance of some of the city’s popular restaurants and breweries.
