In the centre of Hanoi there are lots of shops selling everything from cloths to handicrafts, ceramics, posters, and much more. I didn’t buy any pottery, but I remember wanting to, there were really cool things like dinnerware sets, tea sets, etc. Every street in the Old Quarter will have shops to browse through. Oh, and of course you’ll see plenty of shops selling supposedly NorthFace items.
Take a look at these two recommendations for t-shirt shops, which were the only ones I saved the address of.
Ginkgo
Check out the different locations of the Ginkgo T-shirt store in Hanoi. As well as t-shirts, the store also sells accessories such as backpacks and caps. Although not very cheap, it has very cool items with very original prints, and the cotton is super soft. A great souvenir to take home from Vietnam.
There are also shops in Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City.

If you like the t-shirts and tote bags from the website, I recommend visiting the flagship store, as the one I went to was smaller and didn’t have as many options for tote bags, for example. They also have a store in Hoi An.
If you’re looking for decorations and knick-knacks for any kind of celebration, don’t miss Hang Ma Street, which I also have recommended as a must-visit in the post on Things to do in Hanoi. Find the location of this busy street here.
